We had a productive meeting at CETRI with esteemed participants from Indonesia, including Dr. Belladonna Maulianda, Executive Director of Indonesia CCS Center (ICCSC), and Rizky Muhammad Kahfie, Secretary General of ICCSC. We were also joined by key representatives from ASTRA Infra, including Billy Perkasa Kadar, Chief Operating Officer, Elisabeth Tambunan, Strategic Planning Department Head, Muhamad Raihan Ariestiawan, Corporate Business Development Department Head, and Yohanna Gracia Christie, Corporate Business Development Analyst.

During our discussions, we explored potential collaborations that aim to enhance Indonesia’s capabilities in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologies, as well as low-carbon energy solutions including hydrogen. It was inspiring to hear about Indonesia’s ambitions to become a regional CCS hub, leveraging its significant COβ‚‚ storage capacity. We all recognized the importance of collaboration between our institutions to develop low-carbon energy solutions that benefit both our countries.

We are excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to working together with ICCSC and Astra Infra to advance RDD&D and implementation of carbon capture and hydrogen technologies in Indonesia!
